Diversified Celebrates Employees’ Loyalty and Commitment to Values and Vision

Diversified Communications announces the following awards at a recent company meeting: Governor’s Award, Service Awards and 7 Cs Award

The Governor’s Award, Diversified’s highest honor, was awarded to Denielle Christensen, Marketing and eMedia Director.

Ms. Christensen has contributed to the growth, success and culture of Diversified for 15 years. During that time she held a variety of positions and is currently the product leader for workboat.com and provideocoalition.com and oversees the marketing for large portfolio of publications, eMedia, trade shows and conferences serving industries ranging from commercial fishing and commercial marine to floriculture, food service and video technology. She applies innovation across many products in the print, face-to-face and digital worlds. Denielle embraces collaboration and cross departmental cooperation.

The Governor’s Award, Diversified’s highest honor, was awarded to Denielle Christensen, Marketing and eMedia Director.

“I have admired and appreciated her keen skill for P&L responsibilities,” praised Diversified’s Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Paul Clancy. “and, like Horace Hildreth Sr. she has the vision to take calculated risks for our products that lead to growth and diversification, efficiencies and effectiveness.”

Former Governor Hildreth was personally involved in building Diversified Communications for forty years following the purchase of WABI-AM, a radio station in Bangor, Maine in 1949. He brought television to the state of Maine in the form of WABI-TV, one of Maine’s first stations which signed on 60 years ago, in 1953.

Six Service Awards, recognizing employees for their dedication and loyalty to Diversified Communications were presented:

5 Year Service Award – Bob Morrill
10 Year Service Award – Kate Menendez, Carmella Perrone, Heather Johnson and Jeff Powell
15 Year Service Award – Denielle Christensen

The 7 Cs Award, presented to the person who best exemplifies the DC Values in the eyes of their peers, was presented to Matt Boucher, Registration Team Manager.
